What happens to what you say.

   You speak

   The recording is written to your phone as an audio file. Nothing is streamed anywhere while you talk.

   It becomes text

   The recording is uploaded and transcribed, and our copy is deleted (best-effort). Our transcription provider account is opted out of model training. How transcription works.

   The transcript is analysed

   Only the text is sent for analysis, never the audio. A model reads it for parts, mentions and connections, and the result comes back to your journal. Your words are not used to train the models GoodParts sends them to. If you connect your journal to ChatGPT, what ChatGPT does with that conversation is governed by your own ChatGPT data controls.

   It stays yours

   Export a copy of your account whenever you like, from Settings in the app: your entries and transcripts, parts, the people you mention, insights, prompts and summaries, part visits and suggestions, your privacy requests, consent choices and the security notices you acknowledged, your account and subscription status, and anything saved to this account in BecomingOne, Shanks Awareness Training or Simple Rituals. It leaves out processing logs, pipeline jobs, rate limits, RevenueCat event and claim records, search indexes, device tokens, audio files, and fields only our operators see. Delete your account and your entries, parts, mentions and insights go with it; any uploaded audio still in storage is removed on a best-effort basis. Our other apps can share the account, so anything saved to this account in BecomingOne, Shanks Awareness Training or Simple Rituals goes too. Data those apps keep in their own storage is not affected; delete it in that app or email privacy@feelingmindful.com.
